From 11 to 14 July 2013 the delegation of the Russian International Academy for Tourism, headed by the RIAT rector E. Trofimov, took part in the jubilee EURHODIP conference with a topic "Return to Tradition" in Maribor, Slovenia.

At its annual conferences EURHODIP traditionally gives the European award "For contribution to the development of tourism and hospitality" to the most outstanding professionals of the hotel and restaurant business and also to the leaders of education in the tourism sector.

This year the president of the "Central Council for Tourism and Recreation" (Holding), Mr. Victor Pugiev, became a recipient of the honourable award. From the first day to the present time the CCTR has been the founder of RIAT.
