Abstract:
Highlighting strategic issues is determinant at a destination and organizational level in order to drive decision-making processes, implement policies, promote results-focused management and monitor progress. In this respect, and with the purpose of advancing knowledge for the sector, the Repository of National Tourism Master and Marketing Plans provides Elibrary users with the links of national master plans and marketing plans that are publicly available in online official national sources. The repository includes references to the publication year of the plans, the period when such plans are active, as well as their available languages.
The 2015 edition of the repository was last updated in May 2015 and presents data for 69 national tourism master plans and 34 national tourism marketing plans.
